Summary

Depot Repair in presence of multiple Business Units

Content

Our understanding is that when creating an RMA (example from Engagement Cloud) to initiate a Depot Repair process, the Business Unit will be defaulted to the one associated to the destination inventory organization.

It is recommended to create one separate organization for Depot Repair, it must be a different one respect to Service Logistics. This is fine.

But how should we model Service Logistics and Depot Repair organizations for large implementations where an enterprise embraces multiple companies part of the same group and every company has at least one Business Unit (example one per country) and in every single country there is an independent network of field service technicians plus one or multiple depot repair centers per BU?
