HR cannot see personal compensation data

Hello experts,

I have configured a Compensation manager custom role which should prevent the user to see compensation data for specific employees.

The role seems to work correctly for all employees as expected (the HR can see compensation data for all employees not included in the exclusion rule), but I have just noticed that the HR cannot manage/see his personal compensation details despite this person is not included in the exclusion rule. However, he can see himself in Core HR (worker assignment page).

What could it depend on?
