I am creating a formula field in Product and I want to retrieve immediate product Group Id associated with the Product and store that in formula field whenever product is associated with sales catalog

Is there any filed in Product which shows that the Product is associated with Product Group if not??

I am creating a formula field in Product and I want to retrieve immediate product Group Id associated with the Product and store that in formula field whenever product is associated with sales catalog using groovy.I need to send that field to R12 application using REST API Is there any way through which I can do this
