Difference between Worker and Emps API in HCM Cloud

edited Jun 8, 2020 9:32PM in HCM Integrations 1 comment

Summary

Oracle Delivered the new Worker resource in the APIs for HCM Cloud as of 19C. Does it mean that the Employees ( Emps) resource is deprecated ?

Content

To manage Employee / Worker data which resource should be used ? There are two resources available in the REST API documentation for Oracle HCM Cloud.

I have seen some notes on Oracle support saying that the emps resource is now under controlled availability and the worker resource is now generally available. Does this mean that customers who have integrations developed using the emps resource need to switch to worker resource.

Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated.
