Load a Skeleton Worker Record to support Oracle Financials and add date-effective history for HCM Im

Summary

Loading Skeleton Records for Finance Cloud to be live with HCM to be implemented later

Content

Hi All-

Does anyone have any experience with loading a skeleton worker record (for Oracle Financials approvals) and then adding date-effective history for the full HCM Implementation a year or two later?  What issues did you encounter and are there any gotchas?  Can the same be done for Person Records as well?

Can I load a skeleton worker record and add the date-effective history?

Yes. If you are loading a skeleton worker record, perhaps to support Oracle Financials, you must provide a date-effective record to hire the worker along with any other date-effective records you require to support your Oracle functionality. The effective start date and date start should reflect the true start date for the worker.

Howdy, Stranger!
