Can you add a template to a Req if you use Position to create the req?

Is it possible to raise a requisition by Position, but then add a standalone template to the requisition once the Position information fills?

We wish to use a standalone template so we can add posting description information (job advert) as Job Templates for Positions does not include an area to add posting descriptions.

We are trying to keep maintenance of job templates/posting descriptions to a minimum.

What is best practice?
