Need info on AppliedPaymentScheduleId in createActivityApplication (StandardReceiptService) Webservi

In the Standard Receipt Service
https://<HOSTNAME>/fscmService/StandardReceiptService?WSDL

we have an operation createActivityApplication.
In the request payload, there is an attribute named "AppliedPaymentScheduleId"

It seems some standard values needs to be passed to this attribute.
Ex: -3 for Receipt Write Off, -8 means something else etc.

Can somebody point me to the documentation page/information where this information is stored/configured?

Also explain a little bit if possible on this attribute.
