How to create Action link (interaction) in Reports/Analysis to update opportunity record

Hi,

I am trying to create an analysis/report for my business team that will have a list of opportunities,  where i can build an interaction (action link) that will allow them to update a field on the opportunity page, so that they don't have to navigate to that opportunity record for just updating one field.

I have previously built navigations from BI report to opportunity and lead records, but i am unclear about how to achieve this particular requirement.
i have seen the option for invoking web service from the action (interaction), but i am unclear how to proceed.
