Cloud Payroll - Hourly to Salary Changes - any easier way to manage?

We are currently processing hourly to salary changes with the latter payroll but lose out on hours for the week in between the payroll changes. We're looking for a better process for when these occur

We are currently processing hourly to salary changes with the latter payroll but lose out on hours for the week in between the payroll changes.  We're looking for a better process for when these occur.  We have been shown a solution where we extend the Payroll relationship date for the HOURLY payroll so that we can capture the hours from the last week before the promotion but the solution would require running two payrolls, duplicating benefits, garns, etc unless we intervene with QPs.  Today, our solution is to pay with the SALARY payroll, created a Sal Adjust element to capture
