Invoice Imaging – Credit Memo is recognized only when negative signs exist on the amount.

According with white paper “Imaging Guide 2019”:

“For an invoice to be recognized as a credit memo, the image must contain the word Credit Note, Credit Memo or have a negative balance”

However, on our tests the Credit Memos is being created like a Standard Invoice instead of Credit Memo – the only way it worked was changing amounts to negative signs.

We created an SR and the feedback from support is that Credit Memo should have key word “Credit Memo” or “Credit Note” and “The amount on the image should be with a negative sign as it is a credit memo.”
