Can the pay element automatically end dates when total owed reached

Summary

Can the pay element automatically end dates when total owed reached

Content

In Oracle Cloud, if a voluntary deduction or loan is created, the amount works as expected but once the total owed is reached, a settlement date is displayed but the pay element (recurring) is still active.  So before a new loan can be created or added to element entries, the old loan should be end dated.  Once end dated, the new loan can be entered with a new sequence number and a new total owed stored in the database.  Has anyone found a way for the element to automatically enter the settlement date as the end date?  Or report on
