DP Imputed Income - First Deduction
Summary
Employee's first DP Imputed Income "appears" to be incorrect but I believe it is correct but due to rounding it appears incorrect.Content
I have an employee example who's first DP Imputed Income deduction for vision was $1.66 which is incorrect.
The correct imputed income amount per pay should be $1.74.
Without making any system changes at all the employees second imputed income deduction amount per pay was $1.74 and so has every other deduction so far except for the first.
I believe this is due to Oracle rounding the deduction on the front end based on the employees enrollment being effective sometime in the middle of the pay period vs the beginning.
