Soap Webservices for HDL - detail error messages ?

Hi all

We have middleware to load HDL files and send email to group on the status. getDataSetStatus gives high level status of the load. Client wants to give more detailed error messages.

Is there is any Soap Webservices to get more detailed error message.  Client looking for exact error message like why it failed to load and count for each messages.

If you have used anything like this please let me know. Any help appreciated.
