Fund Transfer - Between the bank accounts of two legal entities

Hi Team, 

In order to facilitate the fund transfer between two legal entities we created legal entity rules in "Manage inter company balancing rules". However, when giving payable and receivable accounts, the other entity's company code is not shown. Further, we don't have an inter company segment as well. 

What could be the possible reason
