Need to use position hierarchy but Job Level is used differently in HCM

An EBS customer is having a specific position hierarchy for purchase requisitions with the use of approval groups which is not available in fusion. We have converted the approval groups to job levels

Hi,

An EBS customer who is implementing fusion procurement is having now in EBS a specific position hierarchy for purchase requisitions with the use of approval groups which is not available in fusion. We have converted the approval groups to job levels however that is conflicting with the actual job levels in HR. Is there anyway we can use position hierarchy without job levels? It is very restrictive since it is shared across all modules and requirements might be different from when business area to another.
