How to verify if Matching Rules are working as designed
One of the important feature in CDM is Matching functionality. This is obtained using Enterprise Data Quality (EDQ) which is integrated with CX Cloud provided you have the license to it. Matching configurations comprise attributes and parameters for real-time and batch matching of entities to prevent duplicate entries and identify existing duplicates.
Matching can be configured by navigating to Setup and Maintenance -> Manage Enterprise Data Quality Matching Configurations and marking the one to use as Active.
EDQ real-time and batch matching are available for account, contact and address entities. You can either use the predefined and ready to use configuration or copying and adapting it to your matching requirements.
