How do I find hire transaction completion dates for certain assignment categories?

Hello - I am trying to create an analysis in OTBI that compares the date that a hire transaction was completed to the effective hire date, but only for certain assignment categories.

The business question I am trying to answer is: which hire transactions were completed more than 3 days after the effective hire date?

So far I have tried two things: 

1. Using Human Capital Management - Approval Notification Archive Real Time 

• Presentation Columns: Business Process Name (filtered for hire processes), Last Action Date, Subject (use substring to extract effective date).
