Development Goals that are pending approval are not showing up in reports

Hi all, It seems that any Development Goals that are  submitted by an employee and still pending approval of their line managers are not showing up in reports. We want to do audits to see what goals are pending approval and can't seem to get them to display in our standard Development Goal Analysis. Any assistance would be appreciated.
