Defining who is a hiring manager in ORC
Summary
How to define the hiring manager role - is it based on someone being a Line Manager, Working as a Manager, or other field?Content
Hi Everyone,
As we look to start our ORC project, I am wondering how do other companies define who could be a hiring manager? Is it based on someone being an existing Line Manager with direct reports OR is it based on another field that designates someone based on their assignment as a potential hiring manager?
In our existing system, we have all employees listed as options as hiring managers, however, when we move to ORC, the hiring manager capability should be limited to those who actually can hire employees? How are other companies defining hiring managers using their HCM data?
