How to configure approval for buyer modified lines

Hello,

We have a requirement- If a buyer modifies any information on po based on requisition then it should route for the same approval of requisition

We have enabled the require approval for buyer modified lines on requisition business function. But it works for only splitting the lines. other than that its not working.

Kindly suggest any possible solution
