Resume an automated Job - after PAUSING

edited Jul 14, 2020 10:54AM in Reporting and Analytics for HCM 1 comment

Summary

Resume an automated Job - after PAUSING

Content

Resume an automated Job - after PAUSING results in:

1. immediate submission of the job

2. And also runs for all the missed days.

Example - If its a daily scheduled job, and is paused on FRIDAY for a weekend patch. And it doesnt run over the weekend. So the job hasnt run for Fri, Sat and Sun (3 days). When you resume the schedule - the job is submitted immediately and runs thrice.

What should really happen is - Job should just change from PAUSED to ACTIVE status and run as per the next schedule.

Howdy, Stranger!
