Queries on Leagacy Learning data migration flow

Content

Hi All,

I have query on legacy learning history data load. As per my analysis we need to use below .dat objects in same sequence when we are loading legacy data. Please correct me if i am wrong?

1) LegacyLearningItem.dat

2) LearningRecord.dat

My queries are as below.

1) When will we use noncataloglearingitem.dat file? My client has so many external external training(Instructor led training), i bit confused which one need to use for this whether it is legacylearningitem.dat or noncataloglearingitem.dat?

2) Also do we need to create respective courses first before commencing HDL load? As per my knowledge no, but we are facing issues without creating Course. Want to check here before raising SR
