How to setup data manager to pull YTD data from a periodic application

As TRCS is a YTD application - how do I setup data manager please in TRCS to import a YTD trial balance from FCCS for Actuals and from EPBCS for Budget / Forecast when these EPM applications store the data as periodic? Is there anything specific I should be doing to be able to pull YTD?
