To explore turning on/off the audit function for Oracle HCM Cloud and the impact it may have on system performance.


As we are preparing to go-live with Oracle HCM Cloud, we have been unable to make a clear decision on whether or not we turn on the audit log capability we'd use for about 150 fields for over 20,000 employees. 

1. By turning the audit function on or off, what impact will there be on system performance? Can you toggle the audit function between being off or on without any residual impacts?

2. Will reducing the number of fields to audit improve system performance?
