Change AccountKey from Account Name

Hi, 

We have to pass the Account Name as AccountKey while creating the Self Registration user through API.

Can we set AccountPartyId (or any other field) as AccountKey instead of Account Name? If it so, where we need to setup this?

My use case is: I am trying to create Self Registration user using API. We might have same Account Name used by different customers. If I pass the Account Name, I got the below error:
