Instruction: Add a (DFF) to a specific Value Set for additional COA attributes

One of the requirements for my organization was to add DFF's to the value sets of our chart of accounts, and allow for our users to add the DFF to their OTBI reports. I searched on these forums and other support services without finding a detailed explanation. Please see below for my instructions.

It turns out that the Value Set Values (FND_VS_VALUES_B) DFF is unique in the fact that if you add a context sensitive value that matches the value set code then any context sensitive flexfield created for the context will be available only for the specific value set. An example of a use case would be if an organization wants to add an attribute to an account such as a legacy account value.
