Summary

Some Oracle SaaS Components have REST Protocol Transmission option that allows the process to execute REST Calls to external systems like OIC.

Hello,

Anyone have tried any of the built-in/seeded Oracle SaaS Transmission Configuration where REST Protocol is enabled?

An example of this is Oracle FIN Payables Cloud - 20C (sending Payment Instruction Data to Bank and the Bank informs the Suppliers through Remittance Info) - it has transmission protocol like sFTP (most commonly used approach) and I just noticed REST Protocol is also included as option, which seems efficient approach when OIC/Middleware staging is needed for any data transformation required prior sending to end-target system.

Howdy, Stranger!
