Below SR was raised but I have asked to raise an Idea.

SR 3-23811213711 : Cannot search item by description in the item issue screens

If a maintenance manager has to add an inventory item to a work order operation, he can search the item by item number and description. But if an item was not originally on the work order and then a technician has to select the item by item number only in the Report Material Transactions screen (either directly or through Completion options from the Dispatch List).
