ORC: Add Temporary Assignment for Internal Candidates - Work around?

Add Temporary Assignment is currently not available as an option when running an Internal Hire through ORC and there's already an enhancement request raised on this:

But would be great if anyone has found a suitable work around in the meantime which can be shared.
