Approval workflow for requisition is extremley slow

Hi All,

We are facing a sudden slowness in requisition approval process. All of its components are extremely slow

1. Approval hierarchy tree building -> takes almost 7-10 mins to come up when we click manage approvalsl

2. Approving the requisition from worklist (Actions-> approve takes almost 7-10 mins).

But the other processes or the UI navigation as such is very good. Is there any way to check this issue as to why the workflow is very slow. Any maintenance ESS jobs which we can run to get the workflow back to normal timings. (under a minute).
