While defining workforce approvals for annual compensation plan , we have the option for Manage alternate approvers.
We know that by default, manager hierarchy is followed for approvals. Say a person X is coming up in the hierarchy and is also HR manager in the same organization (which in turn means that some approvals might flow up to him/her based on HR manager role). Person X has approved the transaction and transaction has rolled up till 1 level below CEO.
When a person 1 level below CEO initiates an approval workflow, it flows to CEO for approval. Requirement is to stop flowing it to CEO for approval instead send it to person X who is an HR manager.
