How to populate sales record values into opportunity Page using Groovy Script

Hi Team,

 

We are in the middle of implementing CPQ. We currently have an email workflow triggered by a condition on the opportunity.
What the business wants is to add certain fields from the Sales Order object in the existing workflow. Is there a way through groovy scripts to fetch that information that is associated already to the Opportunity?

 

For the above scenario whatever custom fields are in Sales Order similar custom fields we have created in Opportunity Object. Whenever a sales record is created the same values should be populated in opportunity record.Only Primary Primary Active flag should only populate.
