Approval Notification is still actionable after the Approver's attributes (Job Level) change

Content

A Requisition Approval Notification was generated (Req. 1134412) and sent to Approver PH

Approver PH’s Person record is then updated and no longer has a Job and therefore Job Level assigned, so effectively has no approval authority assigned.

Approver PH is still able to open the Requisition Approval Notification for Req. 1134412 and approve it – is this correct functionality?
