Summary

We want to be able to use part of the bank statement Additional entry information as Journal Line Description. How should we do that?

We are thinking to parse part of the bank statement Additional entry information into bank statement DFF (say attribute 1).  Then we generate cash transaction and create accounting on the bank statement line.  Is there a way to bring the bank statement DFF (attribute 1) into external cash transactions DFF (attribute 1)?  Once that happens, we can modify subledger accounting je line description rule to use external cash transaction DFF (attribute 1) as journal line description.  Is this doable?  Thanks, Stella
