Apply receipt Balance to a transaction with outstanding balance.

Unapplied amount in a receipt needs to be applied to a outstanding balance of a transaction

We have a scenario where a receipt in the system for $100. $75 of It has been applied to a transaction. Balance $25 (unapplied) needs to be applied to a transaction which is having an outstanding balance of $25.  Customer is same for both Receipt & Transaction.

We have more than 2K receipts of this kind and looking for a solution where we can do this exercise at one go. 

Any ideas/suggestions are greatly appreciated.
