Hi guys,

I have successfully created a compute instance (Linux 7) and downloaded its private key file before creating it.

Now, I am unable to connect to the instance using Putty (version 0.74). I used the downloaded file in Putty configuration but when I try to connect to the instance, Putty throws the following error:

Unable to use key file  (OpenSSH SSH-2 private key (old PEM format))

 

I tried to convert the file using PuttyGen utility, but when I load it into the utility (Conversions -> Import Key), it returns the following error:
