Query help needed to determine duration in job code, title, pay grade

Hi All,

I have seen several queries regarding the current and previous values and those have gotten me close to what I needed but not completely.

I am creating a report that shows an employees current job code, title and pay grade with the effective date and how long they have been in the combination. I also need to display the previous information.

The flaw that I seem to be hitting with any current and previous reports is that the "Previous" information may be the same as the current information because of a different transaction.
