Effects of the "Profile Search" processes

Hi all,

we have the requirement to describe the following three processes:

Optimize Profile Search Keywords Index

Update Profile Search Keywords

Synchronize Profile Search Keywords Index

Does anybody have more detailed information about these processes and can explain where the differences between these processes are and which effect they have?
