Mass assign supporting references

Need to assign supporting references at line level across multiple subledger journal entry sets

Hi Everyone,

Is there a way via spreadsheet or otherwise where I can assign a newly defined supporting reference to multiple lines on various subledger journal entry sets? We are defining project number project costing as a supporting reference at the line level so we need to add this to 10-12 lines every subledger journal entry set. This is a pretty tedious process. I was wondering if there is an easier way to do this that I am issing.
