Please let me know if anyone has come across this error - There was a problem saving the elections

edited Nov 9, 2020 1:57PM in Benefits 2 comments

Summary

Unable to submit elections for only one option in a benefit plan has an error relating to Elements - other options in the plan are submitting without error.

Content

1)We are testing Basic Life Insurance elections, we had  defined 3 options for this plan - 1)Employee only, 2)Spouse and 3) child - This was attached to a test open enrollment life event.  And we were able to submit the election without issue.
2)We then added the element entry for this basic life plan - on all the 3 options - and we found we are able to successfully submit the Spouse option and Child option  and the elements are getting posted as required. But only the basic life Employee only option - we keep getting this error - There was a problem saving the elections because another enrollment exists in the same element that this enrollment uses.
