User Authentication and authorization for a back-end webserice call (peoplesoft 8.55 and ODA)

Pass logged in user principle to a back-end webservice



I need a help in calling the custom component back-end service (say for example, a Peoplesoft implemented webservice to get the leave abservices of the logged in user).

The peoplesoft back-end service supports the following service requistions

Basic Authentication.
Basic Authentication and SSL.
PeopleSoft Token.
PeopleSoft Token and SSL.
None. (Default.)

What should be the best authentication and authorization steps to be followed in the chat client while invoking the chat bot. 

Please note, The chat client will be developed with peopletools 8.55.

Please help, if any one has implemented such scenario.
