Hello Experts,

In Demantra, we had "def_delta" and "delta" parameters to calculate proportions for rolling demand items and seasonal items differently. Currently, in DM Cloud we only have the average demand calculation on the basis of "GlobalAllocationPeriods" parameter.

This is creating a lot of forecast error especially in case of sporadic and intermittent demand where forecast is typically generated at higher levels of the forecasting tree and needs to be proported, for example, from Product Family/Customer level to Item/Customer Site/Org levels. The current proport allocates forecast to Item/Customer Site/Org for months which have had no demand in the past.

Howdy, Stranger!
