Correspondence blank when sent

I created a correspondence with a few basic fields like candidate name, address, hire start date, etc. It's sent when the candidate hits a certain status in the CSW. It sends ok but when I get it, it's blank. The attachment for the html version has the data in it fine, but the actual body of the email has nothing that is in the template. Its the only correspondence I am having issues with.

Any one have this happen?
