Taleo Recruit Zone Refresh and Updates question

Hi, we just went live with Taleo Recruit last week and was informed we need to apply 20D to our production as soon as possible to get the bug fix-  issue with sharing candidate ( we are currently in 20B.5 version and some of our recruiter unable to share candidates to Hiring Manager). Because of that, we need to refresh our staging zone and apply 20D there first then test it before we ask Oracle to apply it to Production.

Since this is our first refresh and upgrades, we are unsure the testing procedure and things that need to be reconfig once we refreshed staging zone. For those who has more experience in this topic, could you please provide us some guidance on what we need to do, if you have a particular document/procedure that you follow, could you share it with us? I understand each institution have different workflow and business process but if you have a structure on things that you do on each refresh, that would be very helpful to us.
