I wanted to see how organizations have handled merits when moving from anniversary to focal date when Go-Live is in the middle of the fiscal year.  For example, an organization is going-live in the middle of the fiscal year.  When Go-Live, the employees who have an anniversary date from Go-Live date to end of fiscal year, they will receive merit increase during the focal date at end of year.  But all others will receive merit increase on their anniversary date before Go-Live.  Please share your experiences as would like to learn about lessons learned as well as best practices.
