Unable to Modify Element in User Defined Field

When trying to modify an element in User Defined Field, the changes made are not saved.After modifying the element, I click on Apply and Save/Done. Changes made are not reflecting. I even tried to delete the element and added back but still the same. Has anyone come across a similar issue or have any suggestions.
