Career Section - Drop Down Fields Very Wide on Application Form

Hi All -

Does anyone know how to decrease the width of a drop-down box when using it on a user-defined form in the career section? Each field that we use as a drop-down appears very wide and stretched out on the application and takes up an unnecessary amount of space and I don't like the way it looks. I can't find anywhere in configuration to update this so I fear it's something in the branding file, in which I'm doomed.
