The IRS requires the US 1099 Electronic Media Report be uploaded to the IRS FIRE system in .txt format. The solution to get this in the proper format by Oracle is to republish in RTF and then copy and paste directly into notepad. We are asking that the additional step to copy and paste this into notepad be eliminated, and instead have the ability to republish directly out of Oracle into the necessary .txt format required.
