Cannot connect 2 subject areas to merge data in OTBI

Using OTBI  I am attempting to merge subject areas Workforce Management -accruals real time with Expenses - employee expense overview real time.

My Stakeholder wants to use data calculated in both to be seen in a single report. Does anyone have any suggestions?
