CbcReportForXML fails the UK Tax Authorities (HMRC) xml upload test

We are using CBCR to produce the CbcReportForXML file for upload on the HMRC (UK Tax Authorities) Web site. The xml file is produced with no errors from CBCR however fails the upload test. I notice the CbcReportForXML is a version 1 xml file and  the HMRC upload test requires an xml version 2 file. Does anybody have any experience loading CbcReportForXML file, using the HMRC web site? Also, is it possible to convert the xml file from version 1 to version 2. This is the first time we are attempting to load the file so any help and suggestions will be appreciated.
